IT Readiness Program
Enroll in programs designed to help you begin or advance your career in information technology. Learn cutting-edge skills from industry experts who understand the qualifications employers seek. Pay lower fees because the IT Readiness program is supported by grants from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. Classes meet at the University of Arkansas Global Campus in Rogers. About the grant
IT Readiness participants pay a reduced rate to take these certificate courses because of an $851,062 grant from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. The state awarded the one-year Regional Workforce Implementation grant to the Global Campus on July 1, 2016, to support the IT Readiness Initiative developed by the Global Campus and its industry partners. The grant application identified information technology as a skills gap in Northwest Arkansas and proposed the IT Readiness program to help close that gap.
Study with industry experts in six-month sessions to prepare for entry-level information technology jobs, industry certification or continued education. Each part-time program meets two nights a week and every other Saturday.
