Course Discount
Some non-credit courses offer a 10% discount to University of Arkansas Faculty, Staff, Current Students, and Alumni - see the class page to determine if the course you are interested in qualifies. To receive the discount enter coupon code UA10 at checkout. Status will be verified, and correct rate will be applied. Additional discounts do not apply.
No refunds of the UA 10% discount, or any other discount, will be granted once registration is complete.
Non-credit courses are not eligible for the Senior Citizen/Senior Razorback Tuition Waiver, or the Univerity of Arkansas Employee, Spouse or Dependent Tuition Waiver.
Course Refunds
Professional and Workforce Development requires written notice of cancellation be emailed to training@uark.edu.
- Face-to-Face Courses
- Requests received 5 or more working days prior to event- 90% refund of the total charges.
- Requests received less than 5 working days prior to the start of an event - 50% refund of the total charges.
- No refunds or transfers will be granted after a course begins.
- Online Courses
- Requests received within 72 business hours of registration- 90% refund of total charges.
- No refunds or transfers will be granted after 72 business hours of registration.
- Discount codes must be used at the time of registration. Amount of discount will not be refunded after a registration has been made.
All refunds include a 10% charge for credit card processing fees.
Course Access Information
The process to finalize your enrollment into a class is not automated. Within 24 business hours you will receive an email with further information about how to access and begin your class. Please note that access to begin your class will be delayed if you register for a class on a weekend, a holiday, at the start of a U of A academic semester, when the U of A is closed for inclement weather, or when the U of A is closed for approx. 2 weeks over winter break.
Course Technology Requirements
All course participants are expected to have email capability.
Online course participants are expected to have the following:
- Reliable access to a computer with Windows or Mac OS
- Reliable access to the internet
- Access to standard software such as word processing and spreadsheets, if required to complete coursework
- A webcam
- A microphone
- Speakers or headphones
- Minimum 8GB RAM
Please note that some corporate firewalls may not allow the use of Blackboard, the University's online learning system. If your IT Department cannot adjust this for you, you may need to plan to complete the course on another device at a different location.
Certificates of Completion
Please allow up to 30 days from completing your course to receive your certificate of completion.
Transferring to Another Course Section or Start Date
Prior to a course start date, participants that have registered for a course section and then wish to participate in a different section or start date of the course must contact Professional and Workforce Development at training@uark.edu. In the event that a transfer is not practical, the Refund Policy will apply.
After a course has started, participants that have registered for a course section and then wish toparticipate in a different section or start date of the course must contact Professional and Workforce Development at training@uark.edu. Transfer requests will be evaluated based on a variety of factors, including the policies of third party providers such as Ed2Go and CCI, and may be granted at the discretion of Professional and Workforce Development.
Only one transfer to a different section/ start date will be permitted.
Space Reservation Cancellation
The Global Campus at Bentonville requires a notice of cancellation 5 business days prior to the start of the event. If notification is given prior to 5 business days, no cancellation fee will be incurred. After 5 business day before your event, you will be subject to a cancellation fee amounting to 10% of your total charges, as stated in your Confirmation of Services letter.

Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, the Global Campus at Bentonville will make decisions about conference operations in a manner that best addresses the safety and convenience of clients and attendees. Because the location of the Bentonville facility is not in close proximity with the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, the Bentonville campus will follow the Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) Inclement Weather Policy. If NWACC is closed due to inclement weather, the Global Campus Bentonville facility will be closed and will notify clients. Clients are responsible for notifying participants. If the University remains open but conditions warrant, the Bentonville facility may delay opening, close early or close operations entirely.
