Drone Flight Crew Fundamentals
This course is designed for FAA Part 107 trained pilots who want to take their career to the next level. You will build upon existing skills in communication and teamwork that will prepare you to join flight teams for uncrewed aircraft systems. You’ll also learn how to use crew resource management to operate safely and efficiently and develop aeronautical decision-making skills to maximize your effectiveness in team environments.
Those who complete the 20 hours of coursework can be more competitive in the job market. In this self-paced online course, you will learn how to:
- Develop strategies for a successful job search in the drone industry.
- Apply aeronautical decision-making (ADM) and operational risk management strategies.
- Analyze team dynamics in a UAS environment to support crew collaboration.
- Use crew resource management (CRM) principles to perform operations safely and efficiently.
Coursework is intended to provide crew management skills needed to work effectively on drone flight teams and improve soft skills to become more competitive in the job market.
