
Youth Mental Health First Aid
Prepares participants to assist youth and adolescents (ages 5-17) who are experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge or crisis. Individuals who complete the training earn certification as Mental Health First Aiders.
The training will be held virtually from 9am-3pm. Participants must also complete two hours of online, self-paced work prior to the instructor-led portion of the training. The instructor-led portion of the training is approximately 6 hours (which includes time for breaks/lunch). Once you have registered for the event, you will be provided additional information via email about accessing the course prework and Zoom link.
