Helping Organizations Help Arkansans
Community organizations and government agencies strengthen Arkansas and its economic system by connecting Arkansans with the resources they need to be educated, employed, productive and successful. These groups can benefit from the Reimagine Arkansas Workforce Project by using free training to help Arkansans enter and thrive in the workplace.
Reimagine training offers Arkansans a pathway to better jobs and income at no cost to those who qualify. The project’s goal is to assist those hit hardest by the pandemic, including displaced workers, people in marginalized groups and rural areas, women, youth and workers with lower educational attainment.
More broadly, Reimagine Arkansas helps the state and its economy by bringing more people into the workforce, which helps state-wide efforts to reduce unemployment, underemployment and homelessness.
The Global Campus Professional and Workforce Development team at the University of Arkansas talked with more than a dozen organizations and agencies in September 2021 to learn how to get information to Arkansans who most need free training. In response, the Global Campus will host free information sessions for organizations and provide sharable promotional materials upon request.
