Emerging Leaders Certificate Program

Discover proven methods that help you adjust to altered situations and solve problems in response to the ever changing workplace.
- Topic 2: Birkman Assessment and your leadership style
The Birkman Method is a scientifically developed, multi-dimensional assessment designed to help professionals achieve more at work and at home. It integrates behavioral, motivational and occupational data together to predict behavior and work satisfaction across situations. The Birkman Method is the personality assessment for improving people skills and aligning roles and relationships for maximum productivity and success.
- Topic 3: Uncovering organizational behavior
Examine the impact that you and a group have on organizational goals. Participate in an Online Leadership and Team Simulation: Everest V2, Harvard Business Publishing, Michael Roberto and Amy Edmondson (2011).
- Topic 4: Verbal and written communication
Explore effective communications methods to improve workplace production and satisfaction.
- Topic 5: Negotiation and influence
Identify the importance of negotiation and influence and examine skills necessary to become an effective negotiator.
